India Successfully Launched GSLV Mark 3 on 18th December 2014

India Successfully Launched GSLV Mark 3 on 18th December 2014 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at 9:30am Indian Standard Time. The human crew module experiment is planned to safely splashes down into Bay of Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark III is a launch vehicle manufactured by Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO).  GSLV M3 have the size of 42.4m height and 4.0m diameter. GSLV M3 can Payload at Low Earth Orbit up to 10,000kg and Payload at geostationary transfer orbit is around 4,000kg.

The first step was completed in 130seconds and 113seconds for second stage.  After 5.30minutes at 126m height, Crew module separated from GSLV and returned to earth.  Then 20minutes after the launching, Crew Module safely splashes down into Bay of Bengal.
