Mumbai Mono Rail Starting on Sunday 2nd February 2014

The first mono rail project, Mumbai Mono Rail public services will start on 2nd February 2014.  Mumbai Mono rail project is inaugurating  on 1st February 2014. Mono Rail project is implemented by MMRDA. There are eighteen stations and 15 vehicles in Mumbai Mono rail. All vehicles have four coaches. Mono rail has the average speed of  32km/h and maximum speed of 80km/h. Mumbai become the first city of India servicing with Mono Rail. This service will run every 15 minutes between 7am and 3pm. All trains have the capacity of 560 passengers at a time. Ticket's prices were announced and prices are between Rs. 5 and Rs 11 with six stations on the way.
